Apparel fusion: CA Set issues

Let say i have Phyllis CA set (Gemmed). > But i want to fuse it to lance apparel.

So, i fuse it to warrior Frock/Leather Vest/Nightmare Vest. (by using fusion cata).

Then, i refuse it again to any lance apparel. (by using fusion cata)

My Question: Does this gonna work?
*i hope any GM/Developer can verify/explain this. Thanks !

Catalyst is only needed when you want to keep the equip gemmed/upgraded (102-110%). And yeah, fusing it in a phyllis/lance app works.
