A few things id like to say

Wazup? After a very long time I've decided to give tales of pirates a try because I enjoy kind of servers like this one the most.
But there are things which id like to suggest tho because I think the server should also attract people who never have played the game before and the players who plays the game since 2007~

1. Remove the party-exp decreasing until a specific lv. Example until lv 41. Reason: Its kind of hard to lvl up, takes lots of time and most of the players are'nt kids anymore who can spent whole day playing the game. Ive seen in the last few hours enough people saying "I can help you but not lv". Most players try to get someone to lvl them and if they cant find someone they just leave the game. After becoming second class the lvling will be easier and people can lvl alone in a decent speed.

2. A shop where people can spend the earned Reputation. Reputation is useless, mentor/disciple system makes no sense.
Two ideas: 1. Unique Apparel which can only be bought with Reputation. 2. Buffs/Effects which will last for 1-24 hours.

3. A rule against spaming/acting as staff. Today there were few people kept spaming/trolling people that they are going to start an event once X players are there.

4. Hexa-Event. It was the event which I enjoyed the most in this game. It helped the economy a lot and people could earn a nice amount of money.

Mini amps are part of the disciple/mentor system. Why ruin it completly? No need to give out free things..
 
I agree, but as for the rep thing, yea he does need a rep exchanger so that rep has use and people will actually try and help lower lvls, but buffs/effects? 1-24 hours? nah better if it gave other items, i'd leave that up to @Zankza to decide what items should be there. about the party exp, the penalty is okay really it's just that zank needs to have 2x exp events. 2x relieves a lot of stress from players, as everything feels half as hard, you no longer feel like it's taking forever.
Also he did say that he will be doing hex but he doesn't want to make it too long, think he said 20 mins this weekend(in my opinion that's near pointless for the ones that really need it) but i suppose he knows what he wants with the server
 
The buff/effect was just an idea tho. Of course buffs which last 1~h would cost less than buffs which last for 24 hours.

With rewards like this, there would be no point in abusing the system. If players receive items then the most wouldnt bother lvling new players. They just make alts and abuse the system.

Hex 20mins? Thats not going to help anyone. With lv 40 you would need like 25-30 minutes to finish hex a single hex quest if you dont have anyone helping you to kill pumpkings, getting the party members etc

But now my friend cant find one and lvling alone, saying its boring.

Maybe increase party exp to 1.5? Agreed on things this exp just for ppl lvl 1-41. Just concerning the new comers, u know we need them.
 
If first one becomes a thing then 2nd one becomes more easily abusable so only 1 of them

+1... That would motivate players to work together. Some classes are fine alone but others not.

2.Nope because no lifers abuse the rep system(mall at this state has only the pretty neccesary thing,no OP items and yet u can buy rums cheap enough)
3.Every1 knows about the spammers,we are aware
4.Hexa items are in mall which will give boost to the mallers

P.S im non-maller but the system seems pretty fair and balanced

1. If you dont give abuse-able reward then people will not abuse. Read my post again and think before you write.

4. Only the candy item should be in the item mall like in retail top. Ores, wood etc should not be.

This is why I stopped to play at lv 15 xD In retail TOP I could buy a high lvl pet and stuff with cash to ease the lvling but now it takes way too long and grinding alone in low lv is so boring.

that's why it'd be good to put some good items for rep but nothing too much, the thing is there are people who will willingly run 5 clients for 6 hours but there are others who will actually mentor and lvl other players

I agree with @Princeps ..you guys have no idea about those abuser..they will do anything to abuse almost anything at anytime and anywhere..technically, they work hard on their own..I have to agree with that because they work on it..it takes time and lots of work..but some things are not meant to be abuse..some simple examples are put few character at fortune tree, making many character and make a lot of mini amp from them, auto magma, etc.. So, it is hard for Zankza to make a fair decision..we need to think of the impact of the changes ;)
