Our beloved Bar and its famous Arena are definitely two places every player has memories of from "ye olden days" of ToP and to a lesser degree, ToP 2. And rightfully so - it used to be a crowded, packed area with dozens of players at almost any given time, where nearly everyone could find a party and have some fun.
Since then though, things changed a lot, and people no longer visit this once famous area. Why though? It's mostly because people prefer to PK for rewards, not for fun; likewise, people have grown used to PKing with Flash Bombs and cooking pots... therefore the argument of "why would I waste so much money on Bar PK?"
Now, reviving Bar PK isn't easy, but what does seem easy is giving people more of an incentive to do it. Hence this thread, which aims at giving a few suggestions on how people might be more willing to spend some of their free time on 'having fun' at Bar.
1] Let the Arena NPC give people 'free' (or very cheap) basic consumables, such as:
Sturgeon Soup
Bun
Scholar Wine
Flash Bomb Lv1
Fried Oyster Soup
Biscuit
Mao Wine
Acceleration Potion
And this wouldn't put people who can and want to use stronger pots at a disadvantage, they'd still have an advantage because they could still use stronger pots (i.e. tigerfish, roll, bless, weightless, HL flash bombs), but perhaps people would be more willing to participate in Bar PK - whether casually or as part of an event - if they were given this slight incentive to do so.

1] Let the Arena NPC give people 'free' (or very cheap) basic consumables, such as:
- Of course, this would require making unique versions of these items, which could only be used inside Arena (i.e. 'Blessed Sturgeon Soup').
- These effects would have to expire once the arena fight is over, so as to prevent people from going to Bar, using them and going to a maze right afterwards.
- Obviously, the same rules would apply as above; these would be unique versions of the items which could only be used in Arena and their effect would expire when leaving.
- In general, these "advanced" pots should cost less than they do on market, but still have some price attached to them, just in case someone wants to "pot harder".
- What basic/advanced consumables would be available should potentially depend on characters' level (though this could be discussed).
- Reset all cooldowns when exiting Arena map
- Make Fairy Possession have a lower cooldown if used inside Arena (i.e. 1 minute)
