  • Removed Chaos Voucher<->Chaos Voucher exchange from `Chaos Administrator`

  • Lv41 Disciple reward reduced to 100 000 gold.. + gives 20x `Blessed Heaven's Berry`

Wow the SQ has been properly destroyed... Where is the "vanilla" crap we have been told all this time? Forgot already?

TOP was difficult enough as it was. I don't see how making more restrictions will help the game in any way.
Impressive, nerfs nerfs nerfs, lvling alts was already boring and slow but doable by any new player as an option for money, SQ boring too cause nerfed rewards and the quest itself is painfull, but now its just weird, where does this necessity for changing gameplay stuff comes from? As the other guy mentioned, there are alot of quality of life that would'nt unbalance the game, instead would make it a little better(like the cooldown thing or maybe fix the wrong stats in lv 70 stones/unseals by a little so it becomes somehow usefull for other classes not just crus). Nerfing those money making methods for free to play people just make it harder for those people, i dont know if u remember, but this server is already hard and very slow to do anything, lvling a bunch of alts isnt quick at all, farming sq for those OSS and Ref isnt quick at all, the options for money making are very limited since top exists, not to say they are all absolutely annoying/boring due to the beautifull old game mechanics. OSS nerfs just helps creating a wall between rich bois and non mallers, since those non mallers have to farm alot more with nerfed ways to get a possibly overpriced UG(since big demand and lower supply. Being more neutral about this, at minimum this kind of changes should be done a while AFTER the new server was launched, so u could better know what to change or not based on how the server was progressing, doing this so early just discourages other people who may not have a entire day free for farming(which is not my case but there alot of those people) oh well, goodluck to us all.

And adding to your last point, the vanilla point was the all-time reason for many suggestions from players to be declined, just because "it would stray from the vanilla aspect of the game" but this updates completely wrecks that. I really really hope that this time the devs listen to the player base and make some reconsiderations.

In my opinion, SQ AND PLVLING ALTS is still doable, with this change, rums wont be 100k each because GOLD in the ECONOMY will be low. there will be high supply of rum/item selling and less supply of gold, thus rums/items wont be OP and equips being cheap.

for me this change is actually the best, we will all see it when the server opens and then we will know how the changes will work out.

but idk, maybe I am wrong
but just wanted to let you guys look on the possibility of other things. I also do SQ and it does give you a hell lot of money but to the extent that you are willing to be a zombie farm sq items and do quest with 5 clients without auto run. The SQ routine - farm sq items, PLVL ALTS, if lucky get star of unity good stated weapon then DO SQ with the alts. its all still doable.

with this nerf theres also comes PROs which is low GOLD in the server thus making all items lower in price and purchaseable by anyone who can farm not just by doing SQ.
[ how will the sellers sell HIGH/OP if the gold economy is low ]

Hope this clears something and I hope i have given you HOPE. I am not here to tell people that they are wrong, iam just stating what I think might happen, and iam no Nostradamus nor a genius so I might be wrong. but I just want you to look upon it on a different perspective.

Is this update serious? Only ways to make money in game for non mallers is disciples, sq, manu and cooking, and u r nerfing all that stuff. So, dont understand the purpose.

I was trying to make money off of it and I ended up losing more than what I was making hahaha but I would love for them to look into it. The sea is the big forgotten in this game :)
 
There are so many things that need to be addressed. As I opened the character to get into game, I got complete bluescreen in game. Happened a few times now, I have to close the game and open it again since relogging doesnt work.
Known recurrent bug. It happens in every 2nd or 3rd build on certain CPU/RAM combinations only. The solution is to just scroll the mouse wheel.

Hope this clears something and I hope i have given you HOPE. I am not here to tell people that they are wrong, iam just stating what I think might happen, and iam no Nostradamus nor a genius so I might be wrong. but I just want you to look upon it on a different perspective.
That's the sole reason it was changed like that, including all the other `unpopular` changes we made.
We have one more `unpopular` change pending. But it will be done in a more acceptable way.
The sole reasons for the `unpopular` changes, are to lower the gold supply and to lower the used items supply to the considerable level where gold sinks are in sync with the supply of gold.

You lower the gold supply, which will eventually make Rum price lower. If rum price is lower, it will low incentive for people to mall monthly.
 
Well, i'm probably coming back to play and i understood A LOT how IGG worked things back in the days. You cannot predict what will happen to players and it's economy launching a new server. There always will be a lot of mallers anyway.

If I learned one thing from ToP is that players are pretty smart (more than they think) and will find ways to make money and don't be noobs (Nobody likes to be a noob).

I don't remember who said, but i support 110% the other stuffs besides pk that is so bad explored on game (manucraft, cooking, sea trades...); also a special point for zankza old private server where he made crafting the BEST crafting experience i had in games. Pretty hard, challenging, and big rewards.

Changed Story Quest:
I know I should review some points about story quest, but I believe that the restriction of lv59 + to make spring quest unnecessary, since who usually uses sq to earn money spends a lot of time with plvl alts, and with the quests. Therefore, I believe that this restriction should be changed. I hope the staff will consider that point of view.
Remembering that despite being an alternative for beginners to earn money in the game, deceive anyone who thinks it is an easy way, since the individual spends a lot of time to complete it.

Have you tried plvl alt until lv 59? if so, I would know the reason ... This restriction is an exaggeration ... maybe if it was lv45-55 it would be more fair.

Joscar. The intention of making Story Quest less profitable and more difficult, is for people to stop doing it repeatedly with many alts. If it is discouraging you from making multiple alts with the sole purpose of doing Story quest, then it's fullfiling its objective.
Have you tried plvl alt until lv 59? if so, I would know the reason ... This restriction is an exaggeration ... maybe if it was lv45-55 it would be more fair.
