Sorry I forgot to mention boots and gloves:
Most people go for the boots and gloves given by opening Chest of Incantation - Crusader
Both of them have +2 Strength / +1 Agility.

But:
You can farm Lv45 boots from mobs who may drop better stats
For example: +3Str/+1 Agil , +4 Str alone, and so on.These are a very rare find but you may buy them from players, but good ones are expensive.

A BoI fused into a fork is worth 4.75 mil - 5.5 mil.
I haven't gemmed or strengthened anything so I can't tell you anything about that.
All I can say is that the most frequent gem fused is Lustrious gem.
Lust Gem - 400-475k
Ref Gem - 400-475k
Fusion Scrolls - 10-15k
Strengthening Scrolls - 15-20k

Depends on your eq. At 1st aim for 210aspd+ with lvl10 buff "tempest boost".
