Dummies guide to Pirate King Online

This guide is designed to help you from the levels between 1 and 45 and then point you in the right direction for players after 45 . It includes: How and where to level up, make money and fun activities.

Things to know
If you set stall and close the game you character will continue to be online.
You can open Inventory with Alt+E
Temporary inventory Alt+D
You can type coordinates Alt+R
Fast Loot pickup Ctrl+A
Fast loot AUTO pickup Ctrl+Shift+A
Auto follow Alt+Click on person you want to follow (Warning if auto pickup is enabled it will break the auto follow when item is picked up)

The Beginning
After you have made your character set you spawn point in Argent City.
Go and talk to Newbie Guide - Senna
She will have a Welcome Quest which will get you to level 2.
After you have reached level 2 talk to her again and Click on Star of Unity and redeem Star of Unity Chest double click it and equip the Star of Unity .
So far so good, after that open your inventory ( Alt+E) and equip your newbie shirt,boots and dagger. And go outside and start killing the mobs Mystic Shrub Mystic Flower Forest Spirit until you reach level 5 then you may open your newbie chest Newbie Chest
After that go to Mini Bee until you reach level 8. Keep in mind you can equip your Novice gear when you reach level 7.
After you have reached level 8 go to Cuddly Lamb until you are level 10.

Its time to select your class

Go back to Newbie Guide - Senna she will give you your 1st job Promotion options.
Lance:

Ami:

Carsise:

Phyllis:

After you have selected you class its time to start distributing stats.
Stats:
Open the stats window with Alt + A
If you plan on being Crusader take STR and AGI
If you plan on being SharpShooter ACC and AGI
If you plan on being Voyager,Cleric,Seal master SPR and Con
If you plan on being champion STR + Con and a tiny bit of AGI
If you hover over the little + on the stat it will tell you what you get out of it.

Mentor:
It's time to find a mentor.
Ways to find a mentor:
Go to Argent Teleporter - Jovial and type in local chat "Can someone please be my mentor" or something of the sort
If no one agrees then type in the world chat by typing " *Can someone please be my mentor " the little * is important

OK you have a mentor ( I assume) the benefits are many such as getting Mini Amplifier of Strive and when you reach level 41 you get 200, 000 gold 49 fairy coins and 3x fireworks

Leveling
Okay you are level 10 you've made you first job promotion got a sword,staff,dagger,bow depending on your class and a skill book.
And you may open you newbie chest once more to get equipment for level 15.
Its time to level up some more.
Go outside of argent and find Piglet or Bear Cub
As you are leveling up collect Blurry Blueprint you can later sell these for 800-1000 gold to players each

When you reach level 13 go to Oyster and collect Pure Water as you are leveling up Pure Water costs around 800-1000 gold as well

And get to level 15. Congratulations you can no equip your next set of equipment to make monsters easier to kill. (Sell the old ones to NPCs)
Now you may go to Killer Shroom (Don't forget to distribute your stat points) get to level 20 and equip the next set of gear provided by the newbie chest.

Skills
For Swordsman, Explorer, Crusader , Voyager, Champion go to Grocery - Jimberry
For Herbalist, Cleric, Seal Master go to Grocery - Amos (Shaitan City)
For Hunter, Sharpshooter go to Grocer - Palpin (Icicle city)

Leveling... again
Go to Air Porky and start killing. From now on the monsters have a slight chance to drop New Sheepskin Scroll or NSS as many people refer to.
After you have reached level 25 Equip the new gear and time to change locations to Rookie Boxeroo until level 30
30-35 Grassland Wolf
35-37 Stinging Beak
38-39 Fearsome Tortoise
39-41 Thickskin Lizard if you are Lance Swordsman collect Greasy Lizard Skin you need 5
DON'T FORGET TO YOU THE MINI AMPS Mini Amplifier of Strive

2nd Job Promotion
Now that you have reached level 40 you may select your 2nd job promotion
Go to your instructor:
Hunters> Sharpshooter Icicle Swordsman - Ray
Explorer > Voyager Little Daniel
Swordsman > Champion/ Crusader Castle Guard - Peter
Herbalist > Cleric/ Seal master High Priest - Gannon
Accept and complete the quests .

Go and buy Skills
For Swordsman, Explorer, Crusader , Voyager, Champion go to Grocery - Jimberry
For Herbalist, Cleric, Seal Master go to Grocery - Amos (Shaitan City)
For Hunter, Sharpshooter go to Grocer - Palpin (Icicle city)

Star of Unity:
Don't worry I didn't forget about the Star of Unity go and talk to Newbie Guide - Senna un-equip the ring AFTER you have reached level 41 and changed your 2nd job
Click Star of Unity> Hoard Exchange > Redeem class weapon.

To continue your character development buy/Sell leveling

These are my personal prices (They may change depending on who you are leveled by):
35-40 50k ea level
41-45 70k ea level
45-47 120k ea level
47-50 150k ea level
51-53 200k ea level
53-55 220k ea level
After that 120k per 15 mins

Money making:
By now you should have more then 30,000 gold go and buy a Amplifier of Luck from a player stall (shop).
It's time to go back to Oyster and start farming Blurry Blueprint Pure Water Pink Pearl
Blurry Blueprint Pure Water cost around 1,000 gold each while Pink Pearl is sold to NPCs
The other items obtained from Oyster can be sold to players as well for about 300-400 gold each but a lot slower.

One other way to make money while having fun is to go to PK Mazes which you will have to join a faction

Forsaken City (FC) Level 40-45 Top Guilds : Toy Factory V.S. Vanilla gang
Dark Swamp (DS) Level 40-55 Top Guilds : Mitgard V.S. 7 Deadly Sins
Demonic world (DW) 45( I think) - Unlimited access Restricted V.S. Trinity

Pets:
Pets contribute a lot to your stats so I would suggest you get one because their development takes a long time but keep in mind they are very pricey.Also keep only one stat on the pet don't mix 2+ different stats.

Final words
DO NOT buy wings they are expensive and its pointless for you to farm 3-4 hours to save up for Ebony Dragon Wings (for example) but run around with equipment from newbie chest
I would suggest you start saving up for 45,55,65 UNSEALED equipment.
Also DO NOT buy the following UNSEALED equipment because there is better.
Mantle of Enigma , Coat of Evanescence The better item is Chaos Framestone
Tooth of Evanescence , Kris of the Sphinx The better item is Blade of Torment with 12 spr and/or 7 con

Actually you dont have to be in a safe zone. Unless it was changed in the last patch. Because I used to sell Pure water and Bps infront of arg because the city was too full

I noticed people tend to skip Ninja moles in their leveling section, for magic classes or hunter they are excellent exp given they have very low hp. Unless the farming spots for them are really crowded they are hard to beat for how fast you can kill them vs how much exp you get. Excellent guide by the way~!

Yes you are right but as you have noticed the final leveling spots are close to one another. This is made intentionally.

Do not level pet to lv40, feed great fruit when pet is lv39 to make it lv41.

Do not fuse an apparel to sealed equipments, because it can't be unsealed if fused.

Please do some study on class build or guide and be extra careful when learn a skill, you can't reset it unless you do rebirth.

Boxing roos, these lv 34 mobs are north east of valhalla, for the lv 27 roos id look just some meters away from andes (abit up and to the right) theres a bunch of them there
