Wine with mac/ almost there, stuck at patcher

Has anyone figured out how to use PKO with wine on mac?

I successfully installed the program but i am unable to go further than the patching screen. -->
W5M1n
I cannot click on "Ready" but the rest of the buttons on the patcher are still working. http://imgur.com/a/4rTvT

Any insight would be highly appreciated.

It looks a bit different for me. You need fonts installed.
Personally I like to use PlayOnMac rather than clean Wine.
But next problem will be the "Loading" screen

Because We have no priority task to work on Mac Client or Wine compatibility yet.
The best recommended way is to use "XP Mode" image loaded into some VM that supports 3D Rendering and enable Unity mode.

I am currently using dorm internet and thus i cannot use torrent or anything like that for the next 20 days. I downloaded playonmac and the buttons work fine but now i get the same message of server not found. You might have any idea? how did you get yours past the patcher screen? i think i might need to configure something with the connection of wine but i dont know how to do that.

Did not had such a problem. It probably depends on Wine version and it's permissions.

Do you have any extra wine installation? like a .net or some other windows component? This mac is clean and the only thing i have installed is the wine and the game, no other program or winetrick.
 
Yes. all the .Net 3.5-4 some fonts and MS Visual C++ Runtime 2005, Direct X

hi. Can you guide me how to get there? I can't even open the launcher after installing the game...

Yes. Launcher does not work for me too.
I use direct run (.bat file):
.\system\Game.exe xz startgame tom:149.56.28.209,1973

Where IP is from https://code.pirateking.online/run_dest/servers.xml

Be aware. that the NAG screen is still at Screen Middle and does not close itself
and You still need to update client from time to time

How do i direct run a (.bat file)?
Is it i open playonmac shell then type in ProgramFiles/PirateKingOnline/system/Game.bat ?
Sorry if i sounded stupid. I don't have any PC Knowledge. Can you guide me through? I really want to play this game.>.<

I made a link to PlayOnMac explorer.exe
So I can select what game I would like to play.
 
so i make a link to explorer.exe then i double click the explorer.exe on my desktop? How do i get to here?

I use direct run (.bat file):
.\system\Game.exe xz startgame tom:149.56.28.209,1973

do you mean by going to the pro folder and right click it and press click link, to do this when u run explorer.exe on cmd? i still don't get the direct run .bat file part...

no. I create .bat file in Game Folder.
And using Explorer can run it.
 
OMG it workkkk Thank you!!! I finally know how to get there!
 
how to i create it? i went in to cmd. And type in all 1by 1

I still have that screen in the middle while window works.
Also, problems with shaders.

Same over here haha. But i throw the screen in the middle into another desktop so when I'm playing it will appear on another desktop for mac.
