How to deal with troubled players?

OK, So here's to being transparent:

At this point, I felt PM wasn't necessary since his question is frequently asked, a topic would be better suited because: it means other people could answer his question should I am not momentarily around and more importantly, if anybody has same question they could find an answer immediate within by searching the forum itself as private messages are private and cannot be searched.

Still though, I went ahead gave the answer kindly.

Few days later, He decides to PM again and asking some real important questions however because I didn't want to see those questions remain abstained (prefer to disclose the answer public, so everyone gets this information unmodified and equally)

Next thing I know he's bashing me, claiming will not bother to post. This is truly sad day, and I hope you understand why it's really difficult being admin because as you are effectively always being "bribed" with that notion of "I will bring 20 good players", which is really nice for server if that's any true, but I don't bend philosophy and now I have an angry player, if I bend to his willing then I'm corrupt and I anger other players because I disclosed the information to him earlier(or isn't exactly same information I disclosed to everyone else).

Whew. What a day.

If he want to keep secure just cut network from internet. People are being paranoid. Yup i agree with you zankza, that question better on topic since people can search. Don't even worry about stuff like this, you are already doing a great job answering all the questions here on forum, if anybody needs to know something they should create a topic where other players and if possible the staff could answer. Also, his "I'm a spokesman of my guild, 20 players blablabla" attitude is just pathetic. Even if you bring 100 players to the server you are not entitled to special treatment, create a topic like the rest of us and wait for a reply. Big shots wannabe everywhere these days..

The intention is nowhere near that reason. He just wants us to know that being an admin is hard because of these kind of players he has to deal with and also to show us that he is in no way corrupt.

There's no way near to corruption here mate.. There were different ways to make it clear and actually this one was definitely the wrong one. GM has many responsibilities and he has to be an example for everyone.

zedd together with his 20 mates are ready to "pay" for the things they were asking. Do you think that was a suggestion to add them in a mall? I think not.

Also if that was just a suggestion, I highly doubt they will talk to zankza through a private message. Seems pretty shady to me

He, through a very clear language, suggested the inclusion of some items in the item mall for a price that some may consider as expensive, as he and his 20 friends can afford it.

Right. Forgot about that part, but he left the game because zankza won't do what he wants him to do. Lol. That shows Zankza is not corrupt for being after the money that zedd and his company could rake in. I'm not buttlicking zankza, just stating that this is in no way making fun of zedd and the rest. lol

Well to be fair he didn't need to post it. He could've just kept quiet about it. It's not like we need to be sure he isn't corrupt or something like that right? Plus that's life for pretty much any admin. But I do understand his frustration.

I didn't like the way Zankza handled it though. Sure zedd was being annoying but as an admin you should always treat your "customers" well. And the way he told him to fuck off (by passive-agressively quoting himself) was unprofessional. Instead, he could've told him to fuck off by giving him the exact same reasons he wrote in this thread of why he didn't want to get pm'ed. And answer no to all of his requests.

That is pretty much what pissed me off the most. Such arrogance should never be shown to people, especially when they ask nicely. This kind of behavior is both childish and "troubled" imo.

And using such argument to prove that you are not corrupt is misplaced. I have asked if the items would be available in mall because I have been asked to ask you so.

Nonetheless, wrong decisions are made by both parties. It's just sad to think that a player together with his "20 good players" are gone. Hopefully, they change their mind and play this server in the future.

I bet Zedd is not the only one. Zankza clearly said that theres no need to PM him, just make a topic and done. No, Zedd just keeps on writing PMs and asking some lame ass questions. These questions would piss me off in no time, i'm telling you. You could've asked the same question in a topic. I'm sure Zankza would give you an answer to every single one of your questions, if you did make a topic. Coz whole community benefits from that not just you and your 20 nab mates.
