News UG Addition Maze Bosses

No louder cry was heard regards UG's ultra-low supply, many have proposed to add UG into mazes to ensure availability of PK in each mazes.

The following poll asks what percent would be appropriate if all UG were added into four maze bosses.

Please choose wisely, and discuss your contemplation in this topic.
 
0.30% its fine, with cb gonna be 0.60%, so thats ok

0.50 is a lot :p

And i think FC and DS should have this....
FC: Rage and strinking, soul
DS: Wind, colo, soul
 
delete fc and ds, its more best idea xD
 
Considering how frequent mazes are, I think 0.3% is fine.
 
you can go to CA if dont wanna go to fc or ds :p

that was to you splitting UGs drops instead of all from both DS/FC boss. Like how u said rages from fc, forcing ppl to go there cuz ur guild wants more pk im guessing.
 
0.3 sounds fair plus you can always make adjustments. this will definitely attract pk. i mean its worth pking for.
 
if srsly: ca every 12h => 7 chests every 12h (1% all gems). 30 min respawn boss. 24 boss for 12h. Need 24boos=7chests, its ~0.3%

where did you get that 30min boss respawn? o_O
 
Maybe, put 0.01 drop or lower on normal mobs on FC and DS will help farmers
 
This is a great idea, Zankza.

To be completely honest, I am pleasantly surprised that there is a server where the admin actually cares about the health of the game and it's economy to the point where they are willing to change mob drops to better accommodate the playerbase. I appreciate the idea of no UGs in the mall, it gives the players a reason to actually play the game. One of the things I hated about the original is that an uber avatar was easily available through the mall. I played the game for years and there were players who were my equals in gear/level but didn't know the game half as much as I did and didn't have anywhere near my playtime. I have nothing against buying stuff from the Item Mall, I do it myself but I am strongly against the idea of having all the uber gear and gems in there.


I voted 0.3% but not across all mazes/bosses, that would be a bad idea. Even 0.3% is a very high drop chance given the frequency of the mazes per 24/h. There will come a point where the UGs will drop in price a lot, it's inevitable with a high drop chance. With that in mind, UGs should be kept special, they are one of the things that every player who wants to become an uber needs/wants the most after they get the gear. Also, giving the exact same drop percentage to all bosses would be a bad thing. I have nothing against the FC/DS players but those are lower level mazes and shouldn't have the same reward as a high level mazes where the competition is much tougher. Every player who wants to go after DW/CA strives for the highest level possible, they min/max everything, thus the mazes they go in should give a greater reward. Here is the way I would split the chances among the mazes:

FC - 0.1%
DS - 0.2%
DW - 0.3%

Also, keep in mind that every boss should be able to drop every single UG, without exceptions. Splitting the gems between mazes will force the playerbase to prioritize that one special place.

should be 0.01-0.1% , imagine 1 guild owning all mazes + CA now thats OP @Zankza
 
0.5 with cb effect = 1% is best idea.
I mean the whole reason is to increase pk and ug gems but whats the point if it doesn't drop one lol, the map will just die down again.

from experience i know how hard it is to get kals at b2 which is at 7%

and I'm sure fc/ds can relate with fel's

If only the bosses have 0.1%-0.3% chances, it should be alright imho. Though no UGs should be added to the mobs in the mazes. That would influence the economy a lot given how easily those can be farmed.

increase pk alright, less than 10 people every CA, and everyone is Restricted. That'll end up Restricted having all maps and not allowing newbs to farm at all. How can that improve pk?

I am sure right now no one goes to dw anymore, maybe some for chesting kals. But the bosses are alive almost every dw.
Doesn't matter what % the drop is, adding ug will increase the amount of people attending dw and i hope pk too... but what i am saying is that if ug's doesn't even drop for a example a week, because of such a low drop rate the map will become a ghost town again.
Last CA there was 20 and only 8-10 were restricted.
But this topic is about dw.. not ca...
