Hello people, this is a fragment of an old guide I made for ToP1. I will add lvl 70-100 once server opens and I can check where comes a good leveling spot for those levels. Hope you like this~

This lvling guide is formerly based on voyager leveling, however it can be used by other classes too.

From lvl 1 to 10

These lvls are really easy by simply doing newbie quests or killing mobs in argent's outskirt:

Mystic Shrub:

Xem5qMo.png

Behavior: Passive (this means it wont follow you unless you attack it)
Attack: 0-0
HP: 120
Level: 1
Base EXP: 1

Forest Spirit:

35z9vwI.png

Behavior: Passive
Attack: 9-14
HP: 69
Level: 3
Base EXP: 7

and, Mini Bee:

2v5DLDe.png

Behavior: Passive
Attack: 12-18
HP: 90
Level: 5
Base EXP: 15

From lvl 10 to 16

Once you're lvl 10, just talk to any Newbie Guide, then go to Little Daniel

AN2cWEJ.png

(Coordinates: 2193, 2731 Argent City)

1° At the Newbie guide, select Explorer Promotion. She gives you a card you must take to Little Daniel at Argent City
2° When you give this card to Little Daniel, he will give you a pair of tasks.
First quest will get you to kill 12 piglet (1550/2433 – 2012/2764 Argent) ~ you can try joining a party to finish this task faster but it isnt necesary.
3° Next quest consists on talking to General William (2277, 2831) Argent.
4° General William's quest will make you get 2 Poisoned Fruit, which you can get from Marsh Spirit (1836/2622 – 2014/2945 Argent).
5° Last Quest is to take an object back to Little Daniel. Congratulations, youre now an Explorer!

In these levels, before you go anywhere, I recommend you to use your first Skill Point in Diligence. Then buy and carry the Lighthing Bolt skill book with you because in these levels you wont be able to learn this skill until you get another skill point and Diligence level 1. Having Diligence level 1, for the momment just lvl your Lighthing Bolt skill.

Once you've got the Lighthing Bolt skill book in your inventory, we will go lvl at Bear Cubs until around lvl 16.

Behaviour: Passive
Attack: 44-67
HP: 168
Level: 12
Base EXP: 80

Recommended Spot:

voy2.png

(Coordinates: 1908, 2831 Ascaron Region, outside Abbadon Mine Haven)

From lvl 16 to 18

These two levels, we will go lvl at Bandits. They do give nice EXP, just be careful they don't touch you xD.

Bandit:

TvTqtlR.png

Behavior: Aggresive (this means that even if you don't hit it, it will follow you)
Attack: 94-141
HP: 900
Level: 25
Base EXP: 438

Recommended Spot:

zdcPnpn.png

(Coordinates: 1052, 2831 Ascaron Region, near Andes Forest)

From lvl 18 to 21

In these levels, we will max Lighthing Bolt so we will be able to kill every mob in 1, or a maximum of 2 Lighthing Bolts every enemy we get until around lvl 40.

For the momment we will go to Rookie Boxeroos. You can stay here a bit more of lvls if you wish, because these mobs, which are passive, wont follow you unless you attack them first so you can kill here tranquily 1 by 1.

Rookie Boxeroo:

9n3guP4.png

Behavior: Passive
Attack: 64-96
HP: 764
Level: 27
Base EXP: 529

Recommended Spot:

voy4.png

(Coordinates: 1049, 2936 Ascaron Region, near Andes Forest)

SIDE NOTE: Once you max Lighthing Bolt, we will save ALL and EVERY of our Skill Points. When we get to level 40 we will learn Conch Ray and some other Skills.

From lvl 21 to 24

In these levels, you can level them with Rookie Boxeroos or with Mad Boars.

Mad Boar:

EhlTnhu.png

Behaviour: Aggresive
Attack: 144-216
HP: 600
Level: 30
Base EXP: 687

Recommended Spot:

voy5.png

(Coordinates: 1049, 2936 Ascaron Region, near Andes Forest)

From lvl 24 to 29

In these levels, the things will get a bit harder depending on your build (CON, SPR or hybrid), so up to this point, I recommend you 3 different kinds of mobs. Lvl in the spot you feel more comfortable with.

Grassland Wolf:

uRxRlxA.png

Behavior: Aggresive
Attack: 92-139
HP: 1,065
Level: 33
Base EXP: 873

Berserk Boxeroo:

Slowpoke Snail:

YO9t7CI.png

Behavior: Passive
Attack: 152-229
HP: 1,320

SIDE NOTE: this mob cannot be caught by any kind of pokeball.

From Lvl 29 to 40

And here, we just arrived to the "long part" of lvling... it will be a bit hard but everything can be done in this small world!

Fearsome Tortoise:

Once you're 40, go back to Argent and talk to Little Daniel again.

AN2cWEJ.png

(Coordinates: 2193, 2731 Argent City)

This time we will take the Quest "The journey of a voyager"

1° Talk to Little Daniel (2193,2730) in Argent City (Ascaron)
2° Talk to Burgess (3254,3278) in Zephyr Isle (Ascaron). (You can use Island Teleporter to go there.)
3° Talk to Sacenis (2295,1123) in Glacier Isle (Ascaron). (You can use Island Teleporter to go there.)
4° Talk to Dilady (3595,739) in Outlaw Isle (Ascaron). (You can use Island Teleporter to go there.)
5° Talk to Whitney (3097,3530) in Sara Haven. (You can go there by ship, from Argent sail south- east. To talk to the NPC you don't need to get out of your boat.)
6° Return to Little Daniel.
7° Once you've done this, we will just go back to Little Daniel, and we will finish the Quest. Congratulations, you're finally the class I dedicate this guide to: a Voyager =)

Once you're a voyager, we will be able to learn conch ray (which you should max out) and tornado skills. In case youre suffering with SP and got lighting bolt/conch ray maxed out already, you can begin maxing diligence.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lvl 40 a 56

Here I consider them the most fun parts of lvling xD you will need to go to Treants. If you're a SPR voy, I recommend you to buy many Cakes to avoid dying so fast. We will be here a bunch of lvls, but this is the best for now. In this spot we will have fun with our new skill Conch Ray, which being an AoE will damage all of the Treants with a single attack.

I recommend to loot everything Treants drop, because they even drop some good equips which we can sell for a nice $.

Recomendation: I recommend you to get a pet with Standart Meditation Skill (it doesn't matter if it's a lvl 0 fairy, as long as it has this Skill). This will be useful because we will recover our SP way faster.

Treant:

SMsLv1s.png

Behavior: Aggresive
Attack: 246-369
HP: 2,800
Level: 48
Base EXP: 1,897

Recommended Spot:

cxufr9J.png

(Coordinates: 842, 1967 Ascaron Region, Chaldea Tundra)

From lvl 56 to 65

These levels are a bit long too... for the momment I recommend 2 kinds of differend mobs. Anyhow, in these levels you can choose whatever other monster that is comfortable to lvl at for you.

Once you've got to be 56, our 4 main Skills (Conch Ray, Lighthing Bolt, Tornado and Diligence) should or must be maxed, so with the points that we win in these levels we will learn our 2 Sea main Skills: Algae Entanglement and Lighthing Curtain. Both Skills aren't exactly needed at the momment so you can max whichever you like first. In this guide I'll put a point in Algae and another in Curtain sucesively. You can put the Skills as you like and wish from now on, because the sea Skills wont be really important for the momment.

Guardian Angel:

LIPyre7.png

Behavior: Aggresive
Attack: 308-462
HP: 2,900
Level: 55
Base EXP: 2,701

Forest Hunter:

Behavior: Aggresive
Attack: 334-501
HP: 4,000
Level: 58
Base EXP: 3,103

Recommended Spots:

(Coordinates: 901, 1252 Ascaron Region, Chaldea Tundra. There are many Guardian Angels around this spot so you can just run around and kill them)

BGe8e16.png

(Coordinates: 968, 1065 Ascaron Region, Chaldea Tundra)

From lvl 65 to 70

These Levels take their time too, I recommend that from now on, almost as a requisite, use atleast Heaven's Berry (x2 exp for 15 minutes). If somehow you've managed to have some extra money, you can also use Party Exp Fruit (or better known as "nana") being a party leader and partying I don't know... maybe an AFK friend in let's say... icicle, and go by yourself to level so that way you get the whole x1.5 nana exp. If you GOT so much money up to this point, buy a Mordo Jr and buy a fairy Possesion (Fairy Body Skill). In the momment you use it, depending on the level of your Mordo Jr, it will add you some extra exp percentage. [EXP formula is Mordo Jr's level * 2% of the total EXP gotten extra (for example, a monster that would normally give you 1000 exp, with a Jr level 30 in possesion (30 * 2% = 60%) would give you 1600 EXP in total)].

These levels, depending on our char's gender, will be 2 ways of lvling.

~Female Way (if your character is Ami or Phyllis):

In this one we will go lvl in Spring foxes. This way cannot be taken by the male chars (Lance, Carsise) due that, these foxes will stalk your char until they can't move anymore and so they will die. Poor of 'em.

Fox Spirits got magical attack, which, in this special case, the higher your SPR is the less damage you will get from them, yeah this means, this part will be faster if you're full SPR because you will kill faster and they will deal less damage on you (if you got 100+ SPR, their magical attack will do it's minimum damage: 175). But of course, be careful about Fox Taoists because their attack is a physic one and if you're not careful they will definetly damage you hard.

Recomendation: Do Language Barrier Quest so you will be able to record Spawn Point in Spring City. We will be a bunch of levels here so I recommend you do that.

Fox Taoist:

Behavior: Aggresive
Attack: 433-650
HP: 8,258
Level: 60
Base EXP: 7,000

Fox Spirit:

Behavior: Aggresive
Attack: 492-739
HP: 8,800
Level: 65
Base EXP: 8,500

Recommended Spot:

(Coordinates: 3284, 2568 Deep Blue Region, Spring City outside)

SIDE NOTE: Nope, this way of lvling cannot be taken by gay or trans characters.

~Male Way (if your character is Lance):

Well yeah, men will have to do the hard work lvling at Isle of Fortune (you can go there from Isle Teleporter near Argent's bar).

Beardy Pirate Sailor:

Behavior: Aggresive
Attack: 467-700
HP: 5,088

Beardy Pirate Fighter:

How do you get a "gay" or "trans" character? I'm intrigued! Nonetheless, good guide!

yeah good guide!
i use different route to lvl up but this one seem nice....!

Ehm, choice of mobs is indeed interesting. I won't comment at 1-40 yet, because there is too much, but once you reach lvl 53, you should consider isle of chill, using walls to avoid dying while hitting group of mobs with conch. From lvl 60, you can consider Fortune.

im trying out this class any suggestion for stat point?

i lvled a lvl
Well if you want easy solo leveling, 2 spr 1 con, Might want to pump some spr early on to be able to kill mobs with 1 lightning bolt. But you need to compensate that with con later on.

I have pre lvled a voy lvl 40 just trying to figure out good stat point for me to be able to solo mob with coach skill. and thank you for taking the time to answer this question.

Hello Luisa.
I respect a lot your work that you did in TOP II to keep it rolling alive. One day months and months ago I came across your Voyager guide post in the TOP 2 forums that you probably wrote like 2 years ago or something. It was very refreshing reading about a super duper long opinion/guide post/guide about the class that I've used the least in my life apart from champs, but that I thought I already knew enough about because of my experience.

Thanks for bringing your modified and/or adapted work here. Oh I also liked the music remixes and nightcore in your videos, thanks for the abbaddon runs.
Thanks for your effort to help Tales of Pirates --- ...!

PS: I think people would enjoy a lot if you did a coral recharching guide with many detailed screenshots as this, because the other dull one has too much plain text. Well, anyway, when I have my main voy I will make one if there isn't. Good job.

-UltraBoy, a 2007 ToP player who is having difficulty to pick a class.

Instead of fearsome tortoise (lvl 29-40), i would go for moles on abandon mine, they have less damage and hp and give the same exp

old guide, just cutted the parts 70 above and considered the class quest full, thanks for rebloging it

anyone know how much spr needed for conchray max to get 1400 dmg?

around 84 spr without pet, without magic.
