Tempest Boost Bug

I did already a post about this bug but no awnsers, so will make it again now with screeshots. This post is about Tempest Boost skill bug.I notice that bug only happens when character uses Beserk skill while on Tempest boost buff, also notice that it dosnt happens when Tempest Boost is high level. Aparently what happens is that u loses 1 atack speed or some times 2 atack speed when Tempest Boost goes out, all depends on character atack speed.

If no use of Beserk skill, atack speed goes back to normal after Tempest Boost. Thanks for attention, i hope this bug gets fixed soon.
 
Maybe you should try the character/stat simulator, it could hint at what might be wrong (rounding decimal values?).

Additionally, you could refer to a thread I made a couple months back, the third reply, made by @FinalLegacy, just about says everything about attack speed calculation and perhaps you could run a few tests and find the root of the problem. As a short term solution, you can try and strengthen your agi/aspd Equipment, add another agi point or level your Blood Frenzy if it's not already maxed. I ve made the simulation and i still gets to 210 atack speed, even at database center simulator. This bug happens to other people as well, the bug just happens when use Tempest Boost + Beserk , if no beserk skill, atack speed dosnt change.
 
yes I agree this is a bug.
not only tempest boost, there are many agi/aspd items eg. agi pot that after usage that make aspd lower than normally it should by 1-2 points, though it doesn't always occur.

I dont know if it is only a visual glitch or really lower your aspd, have you tried to slash after the buff gone? is it 5x or 7.5x?...
 
I mean the 210 atack speed Ilusion Slash damage boost.
 
If it's really problematic and happens often, just reset 1 Str point and you're good to go.
 
Man, I just fully read Bruno's guide because I saw this and just realized people haven't been maxing zerk and going for stealth instead even though stealth that lasts after cool down is more than enough=/ Personally have mine at lv3.

Anyway, the math doesn't add up for me since I don't know the exact rates and it seems like zerk/TB isn't an exact math either. I get 298 aspd after zerk+buff even though my math says 297.5 and it should round down, according to previous tests.

Anyway, regarding the bug. Well it is a bug, but I don't see it getting fixed. I suggest, as Leba said, find a way to get a small boost on aspd.

As for the cause, well, it's probably not the skills themselves. This is just a wild guess but I'm guessing the bug occurs during the "Debuffing."

By my calculations if you have max Blood Frenzy, your aspd with eq but no BF is 175. From that, you get a 53.5% aspd boost from all your skills(BF=20%, TB = 6%, Zerk=27.5%, all calculated assumptions meaning they are probably not exact) which gives you 268.625 aspd, rounding down to 268. Now, if that thing was saved as an integer 268 and debuff occurs in 1 step in float, multiplying your aspd by remaining buffs and dividing by total buffs in float calculations(268* (1.2/1.535) = 209.511), gives you 209aspd being stored instead. If that was the case a quick fix may be to store aspds in float instead, although chances are that would mess up everything else(ripple effect).
