Small Ideas to give purposes.

Since soon the lvl cap will be hit and people will start to feel bored, why not give them some kind purpose? This can be acievied by either quests or mazes. Since I think it's too early to introduce a maze, why not make a quest. Something along the lines that you have a pool of maybe 100 items. You have to farm a stack( or whatever rarity the item has maybe only 20 of them) to get a reward. Let the reward be equipment, like a lvl 50 or 60 or 70 weapon ( no unseals here) with all random stats. If that is not appealing maybe give them a certain amount of gold. These quests wil also help new players catch up, since this has always been the weak spot of ToP, that new people couldn't catch up to the best guilds and they just ramped up and got even stronger. Maybe you guys could infill on other similar ideas?

Problem is that, this server is vanilla and players(along the mallers who are sponsoring this game) made it very clear that they don't want to see the game changed, the kind of quests, equipment, you proposed is too much.

The ones where things are already existent but have no ways of receiving them. Like Movement necklace and Unique Rings, they need to be sourced somewhere.

The point these people ( btw I'm one of those sponsoring Mallers) have is correct, I never meant it to be added now. The game still has a lot of things are not done yet( unseals are not yet just common items) so for now it's still good. I'm talking about let's say in 3-4 weeks.

Im okay with what is going now.
But some people complain how its hard to lvl from 1-20ish being alone. Im just lucky got few parties along my lvling.

Soon when people who play earlier reach higher lvl. New comers will lvl alone from lvl 1 alone. Hope those new comers wont quit because of this thing. And nobody will plvl with this 1x exp.

Maybe 2exp or free 10 lucky packets for new comers once a while? Idk tho. Just thinking about those new comers.

i agree, i mean, it isn't impossible but really, if there's no 2x exp, no hex.. there is no come back mechanic for those that join when others are 70+ .. the first thing is that you NEED a party, even voy.. because spr voy too squishy and con voy doesn't do as much damage and still can't tank mobs really and unless you joining with a set party like Reon, you won't move very fast because you'll always have to be searching for a party. Yes there are other things to do, like farming, manu, cooking, crafting, but you're gonna want better blue prints, which drop from higher mobs, and you can't avoid lvling for the whole time because the best part of top(to me) is all the fun you have bossing and pking, pvp at bar was what made top, top.

Top had 2x and hex on weekends for higher lvls to move up and for newbies to catch up. making it so that 2x and hex was on weekends they made it so that you had time to explore the other aspects of the game during the week, pvp, mazes, farming, manu, cooking, etc. right now, everyone wants to lvl because they wanna catch up/keep up, also, having reputation rewards so that people will actually have incentive to help new comers along with the 2x to make it easier for them.

i love that i get to experience original TOP again but i really don't want the server to die out because you don't want to change anything zank. I remember the server was liveliest on weekends, when you would have like 200-500 people sitting by hex npc 5 mins before hex and then on 2x when the high lvls would be mentoring and plvling, especially the friday night stalls where most newbies would make money as well, selling hex items to higher lvls. 2x exp and hex helped lower lvls more than it helped higher lvls, giving newbies a chance to get started, just want you to think on it, weekends were what sustained the top economy and system, hex, 2x exp and the ability to get some stuff with rep were core.
i know for sure that hex was probably 90% of some people's income

About the catch up part, actually the reason for level 70 soft cap and gem level cap is to make newcomer easier to catch up.

God why is everyone complaining. IT IS A 1x ORIGINAL SERVER. You are not going to get all levels in 1 day. So what if people complain and want to quit because they aren't level 70 yet after 3 hours of playing. Your not going to get levels or items easily like every server in the last 5 years. Enjoy the journey up and don't rush it is all I have to say. If you don't want to do that then this is probably not the server for you, sorry.

back then when the grand opening of top im sure that there was still no hex(correct me if im wrong) actually hex was added back then like 2-3 months after the grand opening same goes with 2x exp
