Is Black Market equipment truly safe to buy? Can they possibly lead to bans?

Hello, I was wondering if this actually can lead to problems on certain characters or accounts in terms of them getting banned if you were to somehow acquire a high lvl equip like lets say your only around lvl 40 or around there and you buy a piece of Black Market equipment from a stall or something yet you acquire a piece of a rare armor set like lvl 65 enigma or lvl 75 black dragon. weapons possible as well. This was always a fear of mine in buying black market stuff since ToP2. Only thing was I was lower lvled at time and bought black market to receive high lvl armor over 60 and got dc'd for that then basically banned which is why I always had to worry about buying stuff from stalls even now or stuff like that in general. My question in the title asks if its safe in getting high lvl equips at lower lvls which could get you banned were to happen just like that? Hope I explained it well enough and yeah I get its in the game for a reason but fear of getting banned for buying something worries me. Hope someone can help out before going around buying any black market stuff from stalls or general salesguy. Thanks in advance @Zankza @Developer

You probably got flagged for something else and the GMs got around to banning you a few days later while you were happening to buy BM eq at the time.

I'm sorry but what you're saying is absurd. Just because you got lucky and got a rare piece of equipment doesn't mean the GMs will ban you for using the features they provided.

I dont know if you get what I mean (probably do), didnt happen to me here, it was from original game which had different people running the game before it closed down, Possibly used bots or something that caused it since after receiving msg it was like copy/paste and had no time to respond. I told them about the situation but they wouldn't believe me so that was the end of that. doesnt matter anymore now though. Look people say what you will about it being a dumb question or anything but its more of a cautious approach as it happened then, Hope its understandable, just a simple question with background to explain case.
