How do you setup 2FA? I can't find the guide (if there is). Can someone please paste the link here?

Thanks! ;)

setting it up was quick! now, is there a way to disable it?

Dont think of disabling it! Its for your accounts safety!

i'm not sure if 2FA still work in progress (i read from some tidbit) but it only worked once. it only worked when why i tried to login the first time after enabling it. it makes me think if my account was compromised. that's why, i want to disable it and try it again.

I activated 2FA recently, and its been working like that to me. Only asks me once everytime i reset my modem and my IP changes. For item mall it works just fine. I asked my sister in real life to try logging my account from another IP just to make sure the 2FA was working, and it worked just fine as she was asked for 2FA as soon she tried to log my character.

But well, anyway now that we are on topic, the only thing that still bothers me a bit is that only one out of my 5 accounts asks me for 2FA code every single time i log it, and it isnt even my main one (all 5 accounts are under this facebook account). Not sure if this is normal nor do i know why this happens with this account in particular.

2FA Works like this.
#1 Setup and confirm.
#2 All PIN code functions replace with 2FA.
#3 When you login, You need to enter 2FA to confirm that it is your account, and you have access to all its functions.
#3.1 If you do not use account for around 5-7 days, it will ask you for 2FA again.
#4 2FA is main authentication mechanism used for Item-locking Stone . Required every time you try to unlock an item.
#5 2FA is also required for any exchange or purchase actions in Item Mall. It save authenticated status while your are still in the same map within same session.

TIP: Use Authy app and setup cloud backups. This will enable you to use same app on PC desktop and Mobile in synchronous way.

There will be a Guide on how to use it.

well, i think it will be better if the 2FA will ask every login and not just after you do not use your account for around 5-7 days. at least make that option possible? it could be bothersome for others hence I asked if this can be disabled but it is more secured it we are really talking about security.

It doesn't ask from same PC. If you try to enter from any other PC it will always require.

i'd find it way more annoying myself to have to introduce the 2fa everytime i have to log.. xD if you want some extra security, just buy locks of mystic from groceries and set the automatic lock thingie from game settings, so everytime you log off your entire inventory becomes locked and it asks for 2fa when u log back in

More importantly: try to consider where or how will hackers break into your account at cost of convenience.

We reviewed some big game studio/companies and in accordance this policy we felt was best without compromising security or annoyance.

Bottom line, with the current policy we have set, it is almost impossible for hackers to break into your account without 2FA authentication. If anybody thinks otherwise, try to replicate such, and report to us we'll fix it.
